Practicing Resilience Podcast

I led the design and development of USAID’s Practicing Resilience podcast while at EnCompass, a 25-episode series featuring interviews with subject matter experts across diverse fields. Each episode was accompanied by a mobile-friendly e-learning component that included curated resources and reflection prompts to deepen learning and support application.

Below are a few examples of episode topics covered in the series and marketing images created to promote them:

Between Two Baobab Trees Podcast

As a Senior Learning Specialists on the GHPOD II project, I developed this podcast for USAID’s Bureau for Global Health to explore the intersection between climate and health and highlight the interconnected nature of the two through stories, evidence, and lessons learned.

English for Latin America

Education Development Center (EDC) created the English for Latin America (ELA) program to teach English to youth across Latin America through interactive audio instruction (IAI). As the lead producer and co-designer, I managed a team of actors, producers, and musicians while also voicing one of the main characters and performing a song in the program.

What is Interactive Audio Instruction (IAI)?

IAI is a proven educational methodology that delivers both student learning and teacher training simultaneously. Designed for low-resource environments, IAI programs can reach learners in even the most remote areas using human-powered radios or MP3 players, eliminating the need for electricity.

Each ELA lesson includes:
🎵 An engaging song
🎭 A lively audio drama
📚 Interactive lessons reinforcing key learning objectives

English for Colombia

English for Colombia (ECO) is an IAI program designed to teach basic English to primary students in Colombia. This ECO poster features the main characters from the audio program, including two that I voiced—Mike and the parrot Lola.

ELA consists of 100 audio episodes, each 30 minutes long, incorporating dramas, songs, and games to help students reach internationally recognized English benchmarks. Collaborating with a talented team at a local university in Barranquilla, Colombia, I contributed to scriptwriting and audio production.

Below, you can listen to some of the songs I co-wrote and recorded.
